About the Studies
The ILLUMINATE-101 Study is looking to compare the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication designed to reduce or eliminate the negative immune response to gluten versus placebo in those with celiac disease who are on a gluten-free diet. We will be evaluating to see how well the investigational medication improves tolerance to gluten by reducing the body’s negative responses to gluten exposure. The study medication (investigational or placebo) will be given to participants 3 times via IV infusion. The study has up to 10 clinic visits* and 1 follow-up phone call, and total study duration per participant is up to 34 weeks.

The ILLUMINATE-062 Study is looking at the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medication designed to break down gluten in the stomach compared with placebo in those with celiac disease who are on a gluten-free diet. The study will evaluate how well the investigational medication reduces celiac-related symptoms and intestinal damage due to gluten exposure. The study medication (investigational or placebo) is an oral pill that should be taken 3 times per day within 15 minutes of the start of a meal. The study has about 7 clinical visits* and total study duration per participant is up to 36 weeks.
You will need to consume small amounts of gluten during this study. More information on this requirement will be available for those that pre-qualify.
